"The Unfinished Calling" Capital Campaign
The Unfinished Calling Capital Campaign is our commitment to invest in the next generation of Christ’s Church.
We asked. The Lord provided.
With tremendous joy and gratitude to the Lord, all of us at Ridge Haven are excited to share that we have reached the $8 million goal for The Unfinished Calling capital campaign! Through gifts received and pledges committed, this goal has been met—and you have helped make it possible.
Thank you for your generosity, your prayers for this ministry, and your confidence in the Lord, whom we trust to direct our steps. As we celebrate this milestone, we recognize His faithful provision through people who love Ridge Haven and share its calling. We are deeply grateful for your partnership.
When we began this campaign, our vision was about much more than buildings and improvements. It was about making room for ministry: welcoming more children and young people, serving more churches and families, and providing places where guests of every age can step away from daily distractions, hear God’s Word, and grow in their faith. Our churches, families, and youth need places to retreat—to be renewed in the hope of the gospel and encouraged by the fellowship and communion of the saints. Our prayer remains that everyone who comes to Ridge Haven will leave knowing Jesus Christ better than when they arrived.
We are already seeing this vision become reality as more youth groups, adult groups, and families are coming than ever before. This summer, we enjoyed three weeks of our largest family camps ever. It is thrilling to see groups gathering for prayer and worship at the new Chapel atop Keyes Summit. And even at just 80 percent complete, the new lake and our K-Kamp area was a great hit this summer! We look forward to next summer, when we hope to have all the docks installed, the beach finished, and additional cabins ready to welcome campers.
Staff members have already moved into one of the two homes made possible by the campaign, and our team is putting the new bucket truck and golf carts to good use. We are especially grateful for the donated 2022 eight-passenger Ford Expedition, which helps us transport staff and counselors between our two campuses and pick up guests at the airport.
Cono has also benefited from the new pool, a new roof on our large Student Center, and the completed connection to the city sewer system. Yes, we are no longer in the sewer business at Cono! These practical gifts and improvements make a real difference in the daily work of ministry.
We also hope to begin construction on the new adult housing soon on the Brevard campus. Please pray for wisdom as we consider changes to the plans that would allow us to add a third story to meet the growing demand. This project, along with the other improvements made possible through the campaign and our annual giving, will help prepare Ridge Haven for the years ahead. Each project serves the same purpose: helping us care for the people the Lord brings to Ridge Haven.
Behind this milestone are individual acts of generosity, and we do not take yours lightly. Your support is an investment in campers you may never meet and conversations you may never hear. Yet, there are lives the Lord will powerfully touch in ways none of us can yet imagine.
Reaching our goal does not mean all the work is finished. As pledged gifts continue to arrive and projects move forward, we will continue to steward these resources carefully. We look forward to sharing our progress with you—and especially the stories of ministry your generosity is helping make possible.
For now, we want to pause and simply say thank you. Thank you for standing with Ridge Haven, for helping carry this vision forward, and for being part of this wonderful expression of God’s provision.
The campaign goal has been reached, but the calling that inspired it continues. Please join us in giving thanks to the Lord and praying that, for generations to come, Ridge Haven will be a place where His Word is faithfully taught, His people are encouraged, and many come to know and love Jesus Christ.
With heartfelt gratitude in Christ,
Cameron Anderson
“My daughter made a profession of faith, last week, while spending time at Ridge Haven. The Lord used that particular time, that particular counselor, in this particular place, to draw her into a saving relationship”
