Camp Counselor

The counselor is a summer-long position with the task of providing leadership and supervision to a specific cabin of campers within a designated age-group. We believe that people understand and appreciate the gospel best within the context of relationships; therefore, your primary duty will be to establish an authentic, meaningful relationship with each camper in your cabin. Counselors should have at least one year of college experience or be at the equivalent life stage. They must be willing to work long hours, have a strong desire for children and youth to know Christ, and set a consistent example of Christian faith.

Working a summer at Ridge Haven is a commitment. If you commit to the goal and mission of bringing kids to Christ through a fun, summer camp atmosphere, you’ll see God’s hand at work in so many ways. It makes all the late nights and early mornings completely worth it. The staff also grows close and creates an incredible community for only working together for a couple months. As challenging as it may be, it’s as rewarding as a summer job can get.

CSI's are rising high school juniors, seniors, or college freshmen who are mature, hardworking, and committed Christians.
