Summer Employment

A big part of what makes Ridge Haven a memorable place for summer campers and guests alike is the godly and dedicated summer staff members serving them. Camp Counselors
This summer-long position is responsible for ministering to and caring for campers ranging from 3rd grade to high school, as well as supporting the ministry of Ridge Haven during summer conferences and retreats for adults. Counselors should have at least one year of college experience or be at the equivalent life stage. They must be willing to work long hours, have a strong desire for children and youth to know Christ, and set a consistent example of Christian faith. Past Ridge Haven counselors have set the bar high with their exemplary Christian walk and work ethic, and we want that tradition to continue this summer.

Camp Summer Interns (CSIs)
Camp Summer Interns are needed for the entire summer to serve campers and guests by assisting in the everyday operations of our camps, conferences, and retreats. Working alongside the camp counselors, CSIs must be willing to perform a variety of tasks -- everything from kitchen and grounds work to leading vigorous activities like the ropes courses, climbing wall, and field games -- for long hours while serving all age groups. Those that shine at these duties might also be called upon to be assistant counselors. CSIs should be high school juniors, seniors, or college freshmen who are mature, hardworking, and committed Christians. For CSIs who are unable to stay the full summer, there is a “half summer” option available.
