Dr.
Williams has been a faculty member of Covenant since 1996. He co-authored
Why I Am Not an Arminian, and his work, Far as the Curse is Found:
The Covenant Story of Redemption, was released in 2005. Dr. Williams is
particularly interested in the integration of biblical studies,
hermeneutics, cultural engagement, and is currently researching heaven and
its relationship to Christian eschatology and doctrinal formation.

Before coming to Covenant in 1998,
Dr. Guthrie worked with the campus ministry
Coalition for Christian Outreach, served in various
roles in local churches and taught at Reformed
Presbyterian Theological Seminary and Gordon-Conwell
Theological Seminary. At Covenant, he has developed
programs in field education, Christian Education,
and Youth Ministry. Dr. Guthrie is the author of a
number of articles concerning adult and continuing
education, and is in demand as a consultant in these
areas.
