Recreation & Wilderness Encounters

With over 900 acres of trails, streams, and views, Ridge Haven is an ideal location for groups and individuals to experience the outdoors. Our staff has training and experience in climbing and rapelling, high and low ropes courses, rafting, canoeing, and more. Ridge Haven's proximity to the Pisgah National Forest, the Appalachian Trail, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Gorges State Park, five rafting rivers, dozens of waterfalls, and many other wilderness opportunites allows us the ability to plan an outdoor experience package suited to the needs of your group.

Costs for each wilderness experience are determined by the length of your stay, the size of your group, the activities you desire, and the services you need. Activities are available both on site and/or in the surrounding areas. For more information about the Wilderness Encounter Program, please contact us. Let us know what you are interested in and we will let you know what we can do for you.
