Family Camp


July 1st - 5th, 2013 (4 nights/5 days)

Take your family on the vacation of a lifetime next summer! Enjoy exciting new activities, special games for the whole family, one-of-a-kind “summer camp” experiences for your kids, and wonderful teaching from guest speaker Rev. Dr. George W. Robertson.   • Action-packed games and activities for the whole family such as our thrilling new 45-foot Giant Swing, our popular “Outpost” game, and lots of evening special events.
  • A big 4th of July party with "Lake Olympics".
  • A "summer camp" option for all kids third grade and above, including optional overnight camping under the stars, late-night fun, and extra group games, all part of the family package rates.
  • Endless recreational opportunities such as our 100-foot water slide, climbing tower, high and low ropes courses, archery, and hiking or biking across Ridge Haven’s magnificent 900-acre property.

Speaker

Rev. Dr. George W. Robertson will serve as speaker during Family Camp. He is currently the Senior Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Augusta, Georgia, where he has served since July 2005. He ministered for 15 years at Covenant Presbyterian Church of St. Louis, MO. During his time at that church, membership grew from 60 to 600. Under his leadership, Covenant Presbyterian, along with Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian, successfully planted another church in the St. Louis area.

George is a 1988 graduate of Covenant College. From Covenant Theological Seminary, St. Louis, he earned his Master of Divinity degree in 1991 and his Master of Theology in Biblical and Pastoral Theology in 1997. He also served as Lecturer/Adjunct Professor of Practical Theology at Covenant Theological Seminary from 1992 to 2005. In May of 2007 he received a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Historical and Theological Studies from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA. He formerly served as Trustee Advisor at Covenant College. He and his wife, Jackie, are the parents of Taylor, Abbey, Anna, and Caroline.

Family Camp is four nights and five days. Check out the Prices page for family package rates. Rates are all-inclusive and include registration fee, lodging, meals, and activities:
  • Receive a 10% discount when you register by May 15th.
  • Receive a 5% discount when you register by June 1st.
